Payments, cancellations and refunds
The checkout should never hide whether a plan renews. This page explains what happens after a payment, how to stop renewal, and what to do when something goes wrong.

Pro monthly
Pro renews monthly at the price shown before checkout. You can cancel through the Stripe billing portal; cancellation stops the next renewal, while paid access normally continues through the end of the current billing period. A cancellation does not itself create a prorated refund for time already available.
Career Sprint
Career Sprint is a one-time purchase for 90 days of the access described at checkout. It does not renew automatically, so there is no future subscription to cancel. Access ends when the fixed term ends.
iPhone and iPad subscriptions
Purchases made in the Workplacea iOS app are processed by Apple and use the localized price and renewal period shown in Apple's purchase sheet. You can cancel or change them from Apple's Manage Subscriptions screen, available inside the app under Account. Cancellation prevents the next renewal while access normally continues through the paid period. Restore Purchases reconnects an eligible Apple purchase to the signed-in Workplacea account. Apple controls App Store refund decisions; request an iOS purchase refund through Apple's official purchase support flow.
When to contact us about a charge
Email contact@workplacea.com promptly if you see a duplicate charge, believe a payment was unauthorized, purchased the wrong plan, or a paid export or entitlement materially failed. Include the account email, charge date, plan, and a short description, but never send a full card number or Apple Account password. We will investigate the corresponding Stripe or verified App Store entitlement and either fix access or explain the available refund path. Stripe refunds approved by Workplacea return to the original payment method; App Store refunds are decided and processed by Apple.
Refund boundaries
Except where consumer law requires otherwise, completed digital-service periods and successfully delivered exports are not automatically refundable because a user changed their mind or did not obtain a job. We review genuine billing mistakes and unresolved product failures on their facts. Nothing in this policy limits mandatory refund, withdrawal, or consumer-protection rights that apply where you live.
